PNE v Barnsley OFF

PNE v Barnsley OFF

Despite the referee's deeming the pitch to be safe at 11am, the game has now been called off due to unsafe surrounding conditions.

The pitch inspection was held and after hours of efforts from the Preston staff to clear the snow from the pitch, it has all been in vain as the road surrounding the ground have been deemed unsafe.

This is yet another re-arranged fixture for Barnsley, who already have to face Plymouth Argyle away again in January after the game was abandonned after 58 minutes with the Reds 4-1 up.

Disappointed? YES!
