Shots Will Be Missed

After picking up a booking on Saturday against Crystal Palace, Ryan Shotton has been banned from The Reds' next fixture; away at Preston North End on Boxing Day.

Unfortunately this means that his loan spell has come to an end a game earlier than intended as he was meant to play at Deepdale before returning to parent club Stoke City.

Shotton has made 13 appearances for the Reds playing a huge part in their recent climb up the table at either centre back or full back.

The 6'3' 21 year old will be missed in the Reds' back line but hopefully Mark Robins can secure his services for at least the remainder of the season in January when the transfer window re-opens.
