In form Reds striker Daniel Bogdanovic has been called up to Malta`s national squad to face Bulgaria in a friendly on Wednesday 18th November. The Lybian born hitman has been in goal scoring form for the Reds so far this season and is the club`s top scorer with six goals to his name. He will be hoping to add to his 26 caps for Malta next week.
Barnsley winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce has also been called up by his national coach to play in Jamaica`s friendly in Johannesburg against South Africa on Tuesday, despite falling out of favour at his club. The 26 year old has 20 caps for his country so far.
Emil Hallfredsson will also be on duty with Iceland this Saturday as they face Luxembourg in a friendly at the Stade Jose Bartel, Luxembourg City. The midfielder, on loan at Barnsley from Italian side Reggina will be hoping to earn his 25th cap for Iceland.
After a lengthy lay-off from football following a fractured skull, Iain Hume has returned to first team action at Barnsley and his performances have earned him a place in the Canadian national squad for their matches at home to Macedonia on Saturday and away at Poland on Wednesday. The Edinburgh born striker has 27 caps and 2 goals for Canada so far.
