Barnsley Launch Special Merchandise

To commemorate the upcoming clash with Manchester United, Barnsley Football Club have launched brand new memorabilia merchandise.

The two clubs meet at Oakwell on Tuesday 27th October in the Fourth Round of the League Cup. It will mark the first competitive meeting between the two clubs since the 1997/98 season, when Barnsley were among the big boys in the Premier League and faced Manchester United twice in the league and twice in the F.A. Cup.

Barnsley scored the odd goal of five in a thrilling victory over The Red Devils at Oakwell in the F.A. Cup Fifth Round replay, after a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

Manchester United came out on top in the league encounters smashing seven goals past a hopeless Reds side at the Theatre of Dreams, before their season petered out, trophyless, with a 2-0 victory at Oakwell.

Now available in the Barnsley Superstore are a limited edition T-Shirt and a scarf. See the official website www.barnsleyfc.co.uk for more details.
