Doncaster Rovers V Barnsley: Match Preview

Barnsley will have an almost full strength squad to choose from when the travel the short distance to local rivals Doncaster Rovers.

Defender Bobby Hassell is the only player on the sidelines as he recovers from an achilles injury sustained in the Reds 3-2 victory over Derby County.

Anderson Da Silva has made a full recovery after missing the Reds 2-1 victory over Ipswich Town, through a hamstring injury sustained against West Brom on September 29th.

Iain Hume is expected to start up front with Jon Macken, but Andy Gray and Daniel Bogdanovic will both be on hand.

Luke Steele and David Preece are both back fit and in contention for the goalkeeper's jersey after a couple of fine performances from on loan 'keeper Bialkowski.

The Reds have enjoyed an upturn in form of late, winning their last two games including promotion favourites West Brom. They have been scoring much more freely but also conceding goals so a 0-0 draw is not to be expected.

Rovers have won just once in the league so far and have tumbled to 18th place and within reach of Barnsley, drawing eight of their opening eleven games.

Didn't fancy you for this one but what a great three points - that makes it three on the bounce.
