Barnsley Land Stoke Defender Dickinson

Mark Robins swooped into the emergency loan market again yesterday, capturing the signature of Stoke City defender Carl Dickinson.

The 22 year old joins on a three month loan deal, helping to bolster a weak defensive selection for Robins with Luke Potter and Bobby Hassell on the treatment table.

Dickinson has enjoyed succesfull loan spells at Leeds United and Blackpool and has also made 60 appearances for his Premier League parent club. Hopefully his registration will be complete for Saturday`s match at QPR where the Reds aim to extend their unbeaten record to four league and cup games.
