All Quiet On The Western Front
After two unsuccessful bids from Bristol City, Anderson Da Silva's future remains at Barnsley and no more bids have been made from the West Country, or at all.
Simon Davey explained to the club's official website:
'I've not had any contact now for possibly two weeks. Anderson is staying with us unless they come and offer some stupid money. I see Anderson as an integral part of the group. We're looking forward to starting the season with Anderson in the team.'
So for the time being, it looks as though Anderson will be wearing the red of Barnsley come the start of the season and hopefully for a long time further.
