Tykes Make Hammill Bid
Barnsey have made a bid to Premier League runners up Liverpool to bring in young winger Adam Hammill.
Simon Davey told the club's official website: 'We have made an offer for Adam and were told that Liverpool wanted to have a look at him through pre-season. Our offer is still on the table but we cannot just wait around.'
It seems the offer was made a while ago to bring in the exciting attacking midfielder on a permanent contract.
Youngster Adam Hammill exploded on to the scene at Oakwell at the back end of last season with a string of excellent displays on loan from Liverpool. But Blackpool have also been rumoured to be interested in taking the winger back on another loan after he impressed them too on a loan spell.
