'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Barnsley 1 Birmingham City 1

Michael Mifsud opened his account for Barnsley but the Reds couldn't hold on to all three points at Oakwell.

Barnsley did well against a quality side pushing for the league title, and coped pretty well with the blues' attack.

Michael Mifsud controlled Hammill's brilliant cross to cooly finish past Maik Taylor in the 82nd minute.

The Reds' lead lasted only three minutes, with City snatching an equaliser that was more than defendable. Martin Taylor poked home to rescue a point for the away side.

Good point against one of the top clubs but three points are vital at the weekend.

Yeah very disappointing not to hold onto the 3 points but a point against 2nd place has to be positive. We need to pick up some points in next few games as april is a very hard month with 7 games in 3 weeks

We'll do it. Never a dull moment at BFC! Id rather see us scrap it out and stay up each season than drop a league. Keep the articles comin matty, I always enjoy a good read!
