Tykes table bid for another Malta man in Mifsud

Reports indicate that Barnsley have tabled a 300,000 bid for Coventry City striker Michael Mifsud.

After capturing Malta international strike Daniel Bogdanovic on Monday, Reds manager Simon Davey is hoping to lure Mifsud to Oakwell in order to partner Bogdanovic in attack.

Mifsud is out of contract in the summer and Coventry are likely to cash in on the 27-year-old opposed to losing him for nothing in a few months.

Known as the 'mosquito', Mifsud has only recently bagged his third goal of his Sky Blues' Championship campaign.
