Look Hume's back

Look Hume's back

Barnsley striker Iain Hume is hoping to receive the all-clear from specialists when he has a CT scan next week.

The 25-year-old has been sidelined since November with a fractured skull sustained after an elbow to the head by Sheffield United skipper Chris Morgan.

Hume returned to Oakwell for light training this week and has been warming up with the rest of the first-team squad.

Reds physio Matt Konopinski told barnsleyfc.co.uk:

'Iain has been back at the Club all week doing some fitness work with Dave Kelly and myself. He will go for a CT scan next Friday and that should hopefully give him the all clear.

'Iain has been doing some running and fitness stuff as well as finishing and working with the ball. He has been warming up with the first team and being back has been a big lift for him.'

Hopefully, Iain will be back before the end of the season. Best wishes, Iain.
