'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Saints are coming

It will be difficult for the Reds this afernoon with a host of midfielders missing through injury, giving Simon Davey an absolute headache.

Anderson de Silva, Hugo Colace and Diego Leon, the only three central midfielders Barnsley have, are all ruled out through injury.

Meanwhile, Martin Devaney, Rob Kozluk and Iain Hume are still out as well.

If the depleted Reds outfit can keep Southampton at bay, it will be four straight League games unbeaten for the Reds.

The Reds could line up with either Cureton out wide or as Rigters used to play on the wing in the Netherlands, or even as a 4-4-3 like as follows:

Heinz Muller, Marciano Van Homoet, Dennis Souza, Darren Moore, Stephen Foster ©, Bobby Hassell, Mounir El Haimour, Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Jamie Cureton, Jon Macken, Maceo Rigters.
