'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Look out ol' Macky is back!

Barnsley striker Jon Macken looks set to return to action this weekend as the Reds face Southampton at Oakwell.

Macken missed the Red's F.A Cup clash with West Ham due to Illness but should be back in the squad for Saturday's clash with the Saints.

If you look at it my way, having another striker back in contention for once in my life is good news and maybe he can play all the way through the match.

You would think Oakwell is bewitched with the amount of injuries at present, but Davey will be thinking about his team selection in the wee small hours of the morning.

Come Saturday, the Reds face the music and dance, whether it's come rain or come shine. Hopefully Jon Macken won't go and do somethin' stupid like miss an open goal from four yards. If such a travesty was to occur, perhaps Macken may think 'what now my love?' and contemplate a summer holiday to New York, New York?

Nice slant on the article Matty! I think Kayode is the king of goalmouth fluffs! But hopefully Macken can drill a few in on his return.
