Macken claims goal

Barnsley striker Jon Macken has claimed yesterday's opening goal against Plymouth Argyle

'The goal is definitley mine. Anderson got the header but I got a flick on it and you don't know what would have happened if i hadn't, the 'keeper could have saved it.'

Diego Leon's free-kick found the head of Anderson and Macken managed to flick it into the net.

'I am definitley claiming it and Anderson admitted that after game. I asked him why he ran off celebrating and he laughed and said he didn't know!'

Jamal Campbell-Ryce wrapped things up in the closing stages to secure the three points.

'I think Plymouth going down to ten men hindered us and we never really moved the ball quickly enough today. Having said that, it was a good performance and a good two-nil win.'
