Sturrock aware of Red threat

Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock is aware of the threat Barnsley pose going into today's clash.

From barnsleyfc.co.uk: 'They have got good players, Campbell-Ryce has done very, very well. They ave got two quality finishers, Macken and Cureton have scored a lot of goals.

'Their central midfielders are excellent ball-players and they are very positive at home, it will be very difficult for us.'

So next up its us Clarets again.Barnsley witll be in the White corner of this Roses Boxing Day match at Turf Moor this Friday and the Clarets will be keen to thump the Tykes and maintain their assault on that automatic promotion place. The Tykes are struggling in 17th place on 28 points, 15 behind 4th place Burnley Our last defeat though was back in November when Barnsley held on tto win at Oakwell after we nearly came back from 3-0 down to secure a point before going down 3-2 after a Paterson brace. In my opinion, we wont let them off lightly this time and we will be too strong for them at fortress Turf Moor (no defeat there since home openner against Ipswich) Tykes fans though are welcome to disagree and enter into some banter with Clarets fans over on Vital Burnley in our Matchday Mayhem forum. You can debate the match coming up on the following thread: http://www.burnley.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=2802&posts=1
