'Disco' desperate for return
Barnsley winger Martin Devaney is desperate to return to action after rupturing an ankle ligament.
A frustrated Martin told the Sheffield Star:
'I'm looking to get back as soon as possible. I've been kicking my heels on the sidelines, it's been frustrating.'
Devaney has developed well as a player since joining from Watford under Andy Ritchie back in 2005.
The 28-year-old continued:
'It's the longest time I've been out in my career, but I've got my goal to get back as quickly as possible.
'However, I'm being guided by the physio and I don't want to rush back too soon if my injury hasn't healed.
Martin's injury was caused after a challenge early on against Burnley in front of the Sky camperas and he may not be back for another eight weeks:
'I've got a ruptured ligament, so hopefully in three to four weeks I'll be back, but I've been told for an injury of that nature you can be out for anywhere between six to eight weeks.'
