Souza out for two weeks

Souza out for two weeks

Barnsley defender Dennis Souza has been ruled out for around two weeks after picking up a calf injury at the weekend.

The Brazilian was substituted at Molineux on Saturday just before half-time, during the Red's 2-0 defeat to league leaders, Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Tykes physio, Matt Konapinski, told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:

'Dennis picked up a calf injury at Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend and does not look good for the weekend. It looks as though he will probably be out for a couple of weeks.'

The centre-half will more than likely miss the clashes with Plymouth, Burnley and Preston, over a busy Christmas period.
