'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Davey pleased with Hammers draw

Barnsley boss Simon Davey gave his thoughts after the Reds drew a trip to West Ham in the FA Cup third round.

Simon told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:

'It's always nice to have the opportunity to pit your wits against one of the biggest clubs in the country so it is one we can really look forward to.'

Last year saw Barnsley face Blackpool at Oakwell in the third round, defeating the seasiders 2-1 thanks to goals from Stephen Foster and Michael Coulson.

Davey continued:

'Hopefully we can repeat last season's feat but it is a good draw and we can look forward to playing against one of the biggest teams in one of the biggest stadiums.'
