'If It's Football, It's Vital'

View from the Forest

Vital Barnsley caught up with an avid Forest fan after the match yesterday.

Nottingham-born Tom Snee gave his thoughts following his side's 1-0 victory over Barnsley at the City ground.

How do you think the game panned out?

Well it obviously wasn't a classic, but we desperately needed three points today and the lads seemed up for it, we rode our luck at times but at the end of the day it's three points.

There's been a lot of pressure on Calderwood recently, do you think he would have got the chop if you'd have lost?

More than likely yes, though i never like to see a manager get the axe. A few fans were calling for his head at Doncaster last week but this result has eased the pressure, for a week at least!

Do you think that Forest deserved the three points?

If I'm honest i thought it should have been a 0-0 draw. But at the end Barnsley threw the kitchen sink at us, and i thought the header that hit the bar was in.

What did you make of Barnsley as a team since we last met?

Obviously there's a lot more quality throughout your squad, I was particularly impressed with Anderson's techincal ability, but Hassell did well in stopping a few crosses on our left.

A big thanks to Tom Snee for answering Vital Barnsley's questions following Forest's 1-0 win over the Tykes.
