Hume comes home

Barnsley's star striker Iain Hume has been released from hospital following a fractured skull and internal bleeding.

The Canadian international took an elbow to the head from Sheffield Utd defender Chris Morgan.

Hume, 25, was discharged from Salford Royal Hospital last night. He will now be recovering in his home being cared for by his family.

Here's to a speedy recovery, Iain. Get well soon.

Yep - Get well soon - that challenge was pre-meditated and action should be taken!

Horrible incident, we don't want to see this sort of thing happen ever again in football. I think I speak for all Chelsea fans when I wish Iain all the best for a speedy and full recovery.
