Big Souza's funny walk

If you were wondering why Barnsley's big Brazilian defender Dennis Souza was walking funny during today's match, it was probably because he had Norwich City striker Antoine Sibierski in his pocket for the entire ninety minutes.

The Man of the Match sponsors may have chosen lively winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce as the winner, but my pick of the players has to be the former Charleroi centre-half.

'Dennis the menace' didn't miss a header all afternoon, he was solid throughout in every tackle and his distribution was faultless.

On-loan attacker Sibierski was tipped to cause the Reds all sorts of problems, but the Wigan target-man barely had a kick all game.

The Frenchman did have a nightmare of a match but did manage to produce a splendid save from Heinz Muller in the 26th minute.

In fairness, however, if Sibierski had been playing up front for the Reds today, he probably would have been able to convert at least three of the many chances Barnsley created!

Better look next time, Sib!
