Campbell-Ryce injury blow

Campbell-Ryce injury blow

Jamal Campbell-Ryce could be out for up to two months following an awkward fall in training and damaging his elbow.

The little winger will definitley miss this weekend`s clash against QPR.

Simon Davey told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:

"We have had a bit of a disaster this morning with Jamal. He is in hospital at the moment and it looks as if he has dislocated his elbow."

Campbell-Ryce had been away for part of the summer with the Jamican international squad and returned a week into pre-season training.

"He Just fell awkwardly . He would have played at QPR and we are gutted for him because he has worked so hard this summer to earn a place in the team.

"If he has dislocated his elbow then you are looking at ten days if they can pop it back in. If it is broken then it could be two months."

Davey will now have to change his plans for his side`s trip to Loftus Road on Saturday.
