Dennis Souza, Iain Hume, Jamal Campbell-Ryce and Hugo Colace have all joined Martin Devaney, Marciano Van Homoet and Istvan Ferenczi in the Oakwell treatment room.
Souza, Campbell-Ryce and Hume all picked up knocks after several heavy challenges were made down at Huish Park.
Davey told the club`s official website: 'There's nothing really you can do to prevent the kind of slight strains we are picking up at the moment."
However the Welsh boss is not too concerned about the knocks picked up over the weekend;
'Dennis, Iain and Jamal all picked up slight problems at Yeovil, while Hugo has a tight hamstring after training.``
The Barnsley gaffer is putting his squad through a very tough training schedule as he prepares his side for another Coca Cola Championship campaign:
'You will always pick up these little strains through pre-season, but we are working extremely hard to make sure they're only minor things.'
The Reds make a relatively short trip to face York City tomorrow night although Davey will not be taking any risks with his first team players.
Kick off tomorrow night at the KitKat Crescent is at 7.30pm, as the Reds face Colin Walker`s Minstermen.
