Steele out of Yeovil friendly

Steele out of Yeovil friendly

Barnsley 'keeper Luke Steele has been ruled out of this weekend`s friendly against Yeovil Town due to a neck injury.

The 23-year-old shot stopper picked up a nock on his neck during last Friday`s 4-1 win at Buxton and will more than likely not make the trip to Huish Park.

Reds manager Simon Davey will have to throw Welsh youngster Kyle Letheren in between the sticks.

Davey told the club`s official website:

"Luke has a neck problem and is out of the game. Kyle Letheren will be the full 90 minutes. "

The last time the Barnsley fans saw Kyle play in the first team was back in January during the Red`s FA Cup 3rd round victory over Blackpool at Oakwell.
