Former Tyke`s Target Signs For Terriers

Former Tyke`s Target Signs For Terriers

Former Barnsley target Keigan Parker has signed for West Yorkshire Club, Huddersfield Town on a free transfer.

When Barnsley were in need of bolstering their frontline earlier in the year, Simon Davey turned to the 25 year old despite him having never scored a goal at Championship level. The Scottish striker almost joined the reds back in the January transfer window but failed to agree personal terms.

Perhaps League 1 Club Huddersfield is a perfect place for Parker who has a proven record at that level, and will now be competing with Danny Cadamateri, Luke Beckett, Phil Jevons and veteran Andy Booth over at the Galpharm.

Previously in League 1, Parker had struck 16 goals in all competitions for the Tangerines during their successful promotion bid via the play-offs in 2007.
