Doncaster Rovers will be joining the reds in the Championship next season after seeing off Leeds in the League 1 play-off final.

This appears to be welcome news for Barnsley fans who will be glad to see another Yorkshire team in their division - for both travelling expenses and bragging rights!

James Hayter nodded home for Rovers in the 47th minute at Wembley which ultimately sent them into the second tier of English football.

Doncaster`s new fixture list will include the more local teams including Barnsley, Sheff Wed and Sheff Utd, making the Championship a really competitive and tasty division.

Well done to all at Doncaster Rovers - see you next season!
