'If It's Football, It's Vital'

One more derby for Barnsley - New Poll!

Doncaster`s emphatic second leg play-off victory over Southend confirmed that a Yorkshire club will be joining the reds in the Championship net season.

Donny will meet Leeds at Wembley where both sides will battle it out to join the other Yorkshire sides including Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United in the second tier of English football.

Barnsley will be winners whatever the result at Wembley between the two current League 1 sides, as either Leeds or Donny will surely bring over four thousand fans to Oakwell next season.

Another fierce fixture that will take place next season will be newly promoted Nottingham Forest against recently relegated Derby County, both sides having been managed in the past by the legendary Brian Clough.

It also shouldn`t be forgotten the rivalry between Barnsley and Nottingham Forest. Although the reasoning behind this being more what happened off the pitch and down the pits! The last time the reds were in the same division as Forest was back in the 2005/2006 season where the Tykes did the double over Gary Megson`s men.

Many will remember the phenomenal performance down at the City ground, as the reds ran riot, fronted by a marvellous Marc Richards who netted a brace.

So an exciting fixture list awaits all the Yorkshire teams, but who do you want to play next season? Doncaster or Leeds?

Answer in Vital Barnsley`s new poll!
