Don't embarress us, Davey!

Don't embarress us, Davey!

Many Barnsley fans are hoping that their Barnsley manager Simon Davey will select his strongest team possible away at Cardiff on Sunday.

All will remember what happened away at West Brom on the final day of last season, where Tony Mowbray`s men ran away with a seven goal hammering. However the situation is slightly different as Cardiff have an FA Cup final to look forward to and the bluebird`s gaffer Dave Jones is torn whether to test his best side or rest key players.

Although the situation may be different for the red`s, Barnsley are expected to take quite a large red following down to the Welsh capital and are hoping they wont be embarrassed by a young inexperienced tykes team.

Meanwhile Brian Howard has been selected as the only South Yorkshire based player in the Coca Cola Championship team of the year. The tyke`s skipper has said he would like to stay at Oakwell although speculation still circulates as to whether the midfielder will be joining a premiership club.
