'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Preston v Barnsley - Preview

As the reds look to build on Wednesday's fantastic 3-0 win down at Watford, Brian Howard may still be out injured although Martin Devaney might be able to shake of a thigh injury.

Daniel Nardiello may return to the bench after a hamstring strain but the red`s manager looks likely to keep faith in Jon Macken and Kayode Odejayi up front.

318 diehard tykes made the long and horrid trip through the Luton and Northampton road works to cheer their side on to only their second away win this season and maybe more will be making the trip to Deepdale tomorrow. Kayode Odejayi appears to have found a little bit more confidence after tapping in Macken`s cross and then finishing splendidly in the second half against the Hornets.

Meanwhile Barnsley have terminated the contract of 25 year old winger Rohan Ricketts, the former Arsenal and Spurs man looks set to join MLS team Toronto; managed by John Carver.

Preston may be boosted by the return of striker Neil Mellor who limped out of the lilywhite`s game with QPR.

Hopefully Barnsley will be backed by over a thousand fans, whilst the Wembley glory hunters have disappeared back into their holes.

Come on you reds.
