Barnsley lose...again

Burnley 2 (Elliott 29, Lafferty 34)

Barnsley 1 (Howard 42)

As the red's travel sickness continues, it is clear to see that Barnsley simply lack the firepower up front.

The club's leading top goalscorer says it all; Brian Howard. The tyke's skipper reduced the defecit before half time but the Yorkshire club are simply relying too much on the young skipper.

In atrociuos conditions with plenty of surface water, Burnley's play-off push seems alive whilst Barnsley are still only just above the relegation zone.

Barnsley have won more games in the cup in 2008 than they have in the league.
