Blackpool v Barnsley

The Barnsley Boys may have one eye on Saturday`s sell-out home Cup tie to Chelsea but the league is where it counts and Barnsley are in desperate need of three points.

Simon Davey has been dealt a blow with his star midfielder Anderson De Silva out for the season but the ship is in desperate need of steadying if the Reds are to avoid relegation come May.

Tonight`s trip isn`t an easy one with Blackpool on a great run of form and with the Reds having failed to score in five league games, things look good for the home side as their strikers seem to be firing from all cylinders.

No doubt tonight`s clash will be a blustery one, not one to look forward to I imagine but one that could see Blackpool ease past a blank-firing Barnsley.

Reckon the Barnsley players will be cautious with the Chelsea game at the weekend.
