Barnsley Anderson Shock

Barnsley's star midfielder Anderson De Silva could be out for up to seven months after a scan revealed the Brazilian has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament.

Anderson was stretched off in the game against Norwich after he chased down a loose ball.

The Brazilian will be a huge loss for Barnsley, having only joined permanently from Everton in January in a six figure transfer.

He is the second star player to be ruled out with a serious injury, as Heinz Muller is also out for months with a knee injury.
