Simon's Selection Headache
After Barnsley's phenomenal victory over Liverpool at Anfield, it appears Simon Davey has a selection dilemma over this weekend's trip to Carrow Road to face Glenn Roeder's Norwich.
After a superb display from 'keeper Luke Steele, it would be harsh to drop the 23 year old from the starting eleven, as it would undoubtedly his four top class saves that kept the sea of Liverpool red at bay.
When the welsh gaffer finally chooses his 'keeper, Lewin Nyatanga returns from his cup-tie and will be looking to re-gain his place in the next line of defence.
Meanwhile, Istvan Ferenczi and Danny Nardiello who didn't seem to put a foot wrong against the five times European Champions will be under pressure from Jon Macken, who also returns after being cup-tied. Kayode Odejayi, who caused havoc for Sami Hyypia and Jamie Carragher, will be looking for a start down at Norwich.
There is concern however regarding Brian Howard's potential collection of a tenth yellow card which would ultimately ban the midfielder for two games, certainly not good news with a local derby and high profile cup game to look forward to.
Yet many fans will agree that a selection headache as a result of good performances is welcomed over a crisis of injuries, something our certain rivals (Sheffield Wednesday) will definitely appreciate.
